FOR EVERY STAGE OF LIFE
FOR EVERY STAGE OF LIFE
Fall is the busiest season, so booking 6–8 weeks in advance is recommended. During the rest of the year, 2–4 weeks is usually plenty of time.
We’ll talk through the overall look and how to coordinate everyone. In general, solid colors and soft textures photograph best, while busy patterns and large logos tend to be distracting.
Don’t worry — this is where I shine. I’ll guide you into natural poses that feel comfortable and flattering, and I’m great at keeping kids engaged and having fun. Bringing a favorite snack or small treat is always encouraged.
Sessions can take place outdoors, in your home, or at the studio. I’m happy to recommend locations ranging from natural settings to more urban environments.
Full sessions are 1 hour, half sessions are 40 minutes, and mini sessions are 20 minutes. Newborn sessions are typically 1–2 hours so we can follow baby’s pace with breaks for feeding, diaper changes, and snuggles.
I don’t limit the number of images you receive. If it’s a great photo, you’ll get it. Most galleries include around 60 images for a full session, 40 for a half session, and 20 for a mini session.
We’ll simply reschedule at no additional charge.
Around the 7-month mark is usually ideal — you’ve got a beautiful bump but are still relatively comfortable. That said, sessions can happen anytime before baby arrives.
Newborn sessions are typically photographed between 2 weeks and 1 month old, though lifestyle sessions can be more flexible.
Newborn sessions typically last 1–2 hours. Some babies settle quickly, while others need a little extra time, so we always leave room to go at their pace.
Parents, siblings, grandparents, and pets are all welcome — along with anyone else important to your family.
Outdoor sessions are best during golden hour — the last hour before sunset or the first couple hours after sunrise. If those times don’t work well for little ones, we can talk through other options. In-home sessions are usually best midday when the light is brightest, while studio sessions can happen anytime.
